Chief visionary and driving force behind the company, James believes that the next reality will be the advancement of blending XR, next-gen networking and infrastructure, spatial computing, embodied AI, in robotics, that can augment and improve human lives. James participates in development of our cutting-edge robotic solutions, marketing, and customer experience strategies. With 20+ years of experience leading various domains of technology group with expertise in idea creation, concept-to-product design, and cutting-edge research & development, and a passion for transforming concepts into tangible, high-impact solutions, combining technical acumen with strategic vision, consistently driving teams toward excellence, James committed to staying at the forefront of emerging technologies to ensure sustained organizational growth and success. James has a B.S. degree in computer science from UCLA and invented two patents.
Dr. Wei Li, Ph.D., P.Eng.
Founder & President (NRR Canada)
Dr. Li is a technology leader with 20+ years of experience driving innovation at the intersection of robotics, AI, and digital infrastructure. He leads the company’s vision for transforming how organizations adopt and scale intelligent robotic systems. His work spans robotics and AI integration, technology implementation, workforce training, and the creation of new business models and innovation ecosystems. With a focus on real-world impact, Dr. Li has advanced solutions across e-health, precision agriculture, smart cities, and industrial automation, and co-authored 130+ technical publications and patents, contributed to the IEEE 802.15.3c WPAN international standard. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria, and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia Canada and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
Wilson Lau

Wilson has 28+ years in domains across accounting and engineering, and his work spans future of work, RPA/robotic automation, people technology, finance and accounting, data science and agentic AI, software architecture and strategic analysis. He holds master degree in Data science at University of Colorado Boulder and MBA in Finance at Golden Gate University, and invented five patents.
Dr. Dafu Lou, Ph.D., P.Eng.

Dr. Lou has over 20 years of experience in advanced engineering, integrates expertise in robotics, AI, cyber-physical systems, and secure computing to build scalable high-performance robotic platforms. He leads the development of Al-powered robotic systems for intelligent automation, perception, and autonomous operation, bridging robotics innovation with strong security foundations for positioning the company to deliver safe, reliable, and commercially deployable robotic solutions for industry, manufacturing, and smart automation markets. Previously he held senior engineering and leadership roles at Bell Canada, Irdeto, and Quantropi, where he contributed to mission-critical R&D in security, embedded systems, and next-generation cryptography. He also serves as a part-time professor at University of Ottawa.
